The Night Before

So, I'm mostly packed. I had a minor scare about my camera charging cord, but was able to find it. Now, I'm just chilling with my sister, getting the soundtrack to the opera my mom and I are going to be seeing, and updating my Mp3 player. Other than that, nothing really happening.

I know I'm going to miss my doggie though. We've had a great 2 weeks together. Thank goodness my sister was able to get home today after her flights were cancelled yesterday. I'm overprotective of my dog, I know. Other than school, work, and family, he is my life. :)

I'm so excited!! After I finished my chem, I was able to focus on the fact that I LEAVE FOR ITALY TOMORROW!! (if you couldn't tell that I'm excited, just ask my sister )

If you want a postcard, just leave a comment here or fb message me, although I don't know if I'll check my facebook. Who knows. All I know is that in 12 hours I will be at the airport headed for Chicago to meet up with my beautiful mother then onto Rome :)

Summer has finally arrived.

Before Italy post 2

I'm so glad that I bought a new suitcase last weekend for this trip rather than waiting for the one that my sister is using to get back from NY. Why? Because she is stuck in NY for the night because her flight home that was supposed to be today was canceled. I guess that it just leaves more time for me to get ready and pack....

Yeah.. I'll be packing and not reading a book or watching TV.

Before Italy

I thought I'd start a blog so I don't have to retell everything about my Italy trip with my mom that I'm going on. Plus, this will keep my dad posted, along with family members that care, and people that stalk me. I figure it's always good to keep the stalker happy.

So! My mom and I decided to go to Italy this summer about last December. We made tickets using frequent flier miles, and have been counting down the days until we leave ever since.

Finally the day is within reach! We leave Sunday. I am so not ready. I have two finals this week, so I am studying a lot and not packing, or getting ready. I have some things gathered together, and a detailed list (of course I have a list, it is me...). Other than that, not ready.

I did start my laundry last night though, that's a step in the right direction. I'm working on getting all the bills for August set up. I've bought all my school books for this next semester, along with getting the house picked up so my lovely sister doesn't have to deal with the mess.

Hopefully this blog will be updated as we go. So that everyone can follow. Maybe even pictures if I can get my camera to load correctly. Who knows.

I'll just have to 'seize the day'.
